After serving his country for 22 years in the United States Air Force, Mr. Simmons joined the IntelliWare team in 2012. He has quickly established himself as a trusted agent performing classified financial management work at the executive level for his client. The analysis he creates for his client has been shared with other divisions and used as a model for others to implement in their own divisions. Mr. Simmons recently identified a major funding deficit on one of his client’s primary contracts. He extracted data from the financial system, analyzed trends, and targeted the problem area. Next he documented a clear solution, briefed the way forward to management and subsequently implemented the solution. The result was an efficient use of scarce resources with no interruption to the client’s mission.
Mr. Simmons' humble attitude and conscientious work ethic resulted in him being "Coined" by his Government customer for outstanding contributions to the organization's mission. His manager routinely receives complimentary e-mails from their counterparts on the superiority of his work. Mr. Simmons is relentless in his effort to pass on knowledge to new employees as well as other financial managers in his branch.
Mr Simmons personifies IntelliWare’s culture through his caring attitude and his willingness to step in and help wherever needed. He serves a critical role on IntelliWare’s Charitable Outreach Working Group (COWG). He reviews and prioritizes employee submitted charity contribution packages and has assisted in the distribution of over $150,000 company funds during his tenure on the COWG. Outside of work he is active in his churches Men’s Ministry, hosting many events such as the Father/Son Trap and Skeet Shooting event in June 2015.
