Twitter for Business

by dave fauth on November 12, 2008

As a follow-on to the previous Twitter post, ComputerWorld has published a great article on Twitter for Business.  The article mentions five ways to tap the power of Twitter:

  • Decide on a purpose
  • Follow the right people
  • Be interesting
  • Engage the conversation
  • Use the right tools

Each of the five ways mentioned have great ideas embedded within making this article well worth the read.

Was interesting to read this article. When you read through the “5 steps for success”, you could basically apply these 5 steps to any forum that looks to engage customers more effectively, i.e., it seems to follow a very standard, long practiced product marketing or product management approach. I suppose what is new here is not the process nor the end game, but the mechanism.
