After serving in the Army for four years, Doug Eifert has supported Federal Law Enforcement agencies for the last eleven years. Doug transitioned from working alongside IntelliWare employees to becoming an IntelliWare employee in 2013. Doug’s expertise is working at the confluence of business processes, technology, and analysis. This has made him a highly relied upon and trusted contributor supporting one of IntelliWare’s most valued customers in business process analysis, long term technology planning, and the establishment of an enterprise data governance program.
Doug strives to maximize the value his customers receive in their investments into technology and tools. Oftentimes, customers invest in additional tools when they do not know or use the full capabilities of the tools already available. Following this principle, Doug has become a Microsoft Excel expert and has saved his customer hundreds of man hours (and dollars) through more efficient use of Excel functionality to include automating tasks by writing macros. To spread this knowledge across the company, Doug took the lead in creating an Advanced Excel for Analytics course. This course was successfully taught to IntelliWare employees in the Spring of 2017 and will be taught on a regular basis to enhance IntelliWare employees’ knowledge, enabling them to bring similar value-add to their customers.
As a recovered alcoholic, addiction and recovery issues are very important to Doug. He is active in the recovery community. Four to five times a year, he is a guest speaker at the Kolmac Outpatient Recovery Centers where he talks to patients about his experiences with life after rehab. Doug has also utilized the company’s IntelliReach program, through which IntelliWare has given biannual donations to support individuals seeking rehabilitation help.
