Melissa has a deep sense of dedication to her current law enforcement customer for both professional and personal reasons. As the wife of a law enforcement officer, Melissa is grateful for her opportunity to positively influence the law enforcement community; she believes that her role in improving technology for her customer will one day help keep her own family safe. Over the years she has worked tirelessly to develop mission system requirements that return minutes to mission and enhance officer safety. Melissa believes that to serve the customer well, the analyst must understand and appreciate the obstacles the client faces. As a result, she has served as a mentor for new colleagues joining her project, spending countless hours educating fellow contractors on her customer’s business processes and the importance of its mission.
